Stonehenge

Wiltshire is a beautiful county, a haven for walkers and cyclists, unspoiled and largely undiscovered. Home to two World Heritage Sites in Avebury and Stonehenge, the county is packed with sites of historical interest including Silbury Hill, West Kennet long barrow, the ancient woodland of Savernake Forest, Lacock Abbey (featured in the Harry Potter films), and Malmesbury, the oldest borough in England.

Wiltshire Villages

Wiltshire's villages have a well-earned reputation for being picturesque and peaceful, with friendly pubs surrounded by open countryside. You could easily spend days exploring the back roads and hidden villages, but if you don't have the time, the 'prettiest village in England', Castle Combe, is only a few minutes drive from The Chase.

The Cotswolds

The Cotswold Hills, extending from Stratford-on-Avon in the north to Bath in the south, are easily accessible from The Chase. Visit the roman town of Cirencester, explore the Regency spa town of Cheltenham or the Georgian city of Bath, or spend a day walking through the quiet valleys on the Cotswold Edge.

Other Attractions

Other attractions local to the area are really too numerous to list. Highlights include Westonbirt Arboretum, Longleat Safari Park, Cheddar gorge and caves, Glastonbury Abbey, Salisbury cathedral, Bristol docks, and of course, the famous Wiltshire crop circles! With all of these and more less than an hour's drive from The Chase, you won't be short of things to do and see.
